I write in the YA genre and want to expand my writing to MG. It would give me the opportunity to explore that outlet and meet with like minded writers and industry professionals! I have attended the conference several times, finding it both top-notch and inspiring. Unfortunately this year I am attending the SCBWI Conference and cannot afford both.

After years of writing, I am excited to find my niche in middle grade with my first completed manuscript. Now that Beth Phelan from the Bent Agency has been added, I would LOVE the opportunity for her last one-on-one meeting. Middle grade is a specialty for her, and she is “eagerly looking for new writers.” The timing is perfect! Pretty please!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02001290993003057365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937097558082567694.post-2378788251863181852013-09-20T12:47:17.255-07:002013-09-20T12:47:17.255-07:00Yay, Karen! I went last year, and loved so many of the panel discussions, and especially enjoyed getting to chat about all things writerly with other authors. This year, I'm also taking in a YA Historical Fiction book to pitch to an editor. I can hardly wait.Karen A. Large gatherings of writers (would that be called a gaggle or herd?) are always hugely inspiration and leaves me floating on a cloud of creativity for weeks.Phil Hillikerhttp://www.minotaurstudios.netnoreply@blogger.com
